New student body to protest on Monday

Students who are protesting Sri Lanka’s war crimes have decided to form an organization to bring the likeminded ones together.
The organization will be called Students’ Struggle Committee for Tamil Eelam (SSCTE). The group has representation from 50 colleges from 18 districts in the State. The districts not represented are Cuddalore, Villupuram, Kanyakumari and Pudukottai.
Representative of the body have announced that they will organize a protest on Monday, 18th March. They will burn effigies of Indian Prime Minister Dr. Manmohan Singh and Sri Lankan Presidents Mahinda Rajapaksa and stage road rokos while boycotting their classes.
