Napier Bridge in Chennai is very popular and this is now making sensational piece of news for a different reason. On Monday night, it was a high tense time for the sentries at the INS Adyar naval station near the Napier Bridge in Chennai. The reason for that was due to the sentries spotting UFO or unidentified flying object that could be a drone and this was responsible for the security alert. At around 9:15 pm in the evening, naval sentries spotted a red flying object. This was confirmed by the police department.
The information gathered is the red flying object was flying too low to register on their radar and CCTV cameras were placed too low to capture an object in the sky. The police personnel are now on the lookout for any vehicles parked in that area that could have been used as a control centre for this red flying object or drone. It is now brought out that the Fort police had registered a case and they had also launched for the hunt for the suspicious flying object. The point is the police are now trying to identify any vehicle parked within 200 m to 1000 m of the Napier Bridge.
It was revealed that Mr. Anil Kumar aged 25 who is the lead patrolman attached to the naval base gave a police complaint after informing his higher officials about this drone. Police inspector of Fort Mr. Muniasamy received the complaint, registered a case and then he launched a hunt for the drone.
