A new contact number on WhatsApp to make election complaints

With the elections approaching fast, it is a regular occurrence during this election periods to indulge in violations on issues such as an offer of cash/gifts to the voters to get their votes, violating the Law to make clolurful advertisements/posters, campaigning beyond the allotted/authorized durations, making use of high-decibel speakers. etc., on a rather regular basis!
So in order to facilitate the public who observe any of the violations mentioned above with photographs and video clips, The Election Commission has set up a special ‘WhatsApp’ number to register the complaints – 9444123456.
So, the public can avail this number and make their complaints regarding violations during the election campaigns.
