Election Commission - Special priority for the women who come with infants

The Election Commission has emphasised that the women with infants and the senior citizens for voting must be given priority and need not be made to stand in the normal queue system.
The parliamentary elections and some assembly constituencies are scheduled o be conducted on 18th April. On this occasion, the Election Commission has specified who should be given priority to vote. In this, it has recommended that men and women must stand in separate queues. The women with infants and the senior citizens must be given priority and must not be made to wait.
No one without the Election Commission Card should be allowed to take photographs in the polling booths. Only the voter, the contestant of the constituency, the contestant’s election agent, press staff approved by the election commission, election officials, election supervisors, and micro-observers will be allowed inside the polling booth.
For the voter with ‘Z’ grade security, a security person in the normal dress with arms will be allowed to accompany. The Election Commission has ordered that in the rather tense polling booths, only the web-camera plan staff only must be allowed inside.
