K Maragatham is an Indian politician and Member of Parliament elected from Tamil Nadu. She is elected to the Lok Sabha from Kancheepuram constituency as an Anna Dravida Munnetra Kazhagam candidate in 2014 election. 

She is one of the four Women elected from Tamil Nadu and all belong to same party AIADMK.

Sitting MP Maragatham Kumaravel of the AIADMK is seeking re-election from the Kancheepuram reserved constituency.

The Parliamentary Constituency of  Kancheepuram is one of the 39 Lok Sabha Constituencies of Tamil Nadu. 16,43,656 is the total electorate count in the Kancheepuram  Lok Sabha Constituency (constituency number 12), Out of these 8,05,932 number of electorates are males and the remaining 8,37,551are belong to the female category and 173 are belong to Third Gender as the Election commission of India 2019 reports suggest.
