BJP Manifesto likely today

The Bharatiya Janata Party election manifesto is all set and ready to get unveiled, as the Modi-led party is laying the roadmap to win the ruling for 5 more years.
Today, Modi is expected to make an official announcement along with other BJP party members at the BJP headquarters. This will be the very first manifesto to get released by Narendra Modi after assuming position as the Prime Minister of India.
In a note about this, a senior BJP leader says the manifesto announcement will also have the Prime Minister’s presence.
BJP has its prime focus on developing people of the marginalized sections. It is likely to include problems of rural distress, creating new work opportunities and forming a corruption-free government.
It is to be noted that the PM Kisan scheme is already notified. According to this scheme, Indian farmers shall get a sum of Rs 6000 every year. This is claimed to be a beneficial scheme for over 12 crore farmers (small and marginal). The very first installment of Rs 2000 is already distributed to over 2 crore farmers.
Call for suggestions
BJP had invited suggestions from people. For this, the party went on and placed 1500 suggestion boxes across different assembly constituencies. This is notably the very first effort by the BJP to crowdsource suggestions and invite their ideas and opinions for the manifesto.
Of the most common suggestions is the focus on national security and combating terrorists, say BJP leaders amidst their busy structuring of election manifesto.
One of the PM’s promises is to double up farmer income by 2022. This will be of help in enhancing overall economy and infrastructure in rural areas and villages. There is also the electrification scheme where the poor people shall get cooking gas in bulk numbers.
