Surveillance monitoring of the election flying squad through GPRS

The grand election process in the world’s largest democracy has peaked at its tempo and buzzing with hectic activities! In India, it is rather deemed as a festival crossing the borders of religion, language, culture, etc and all citizens consider it as another festival.

It is deemed that casting the vote is the primary duty of every citizen!

In this situation, the Election Commission is making all required arrangements adopting the latest technology and techniques.

The elections are scheduled to be conducted on 18th April in Tamil Nadu and Puducherry. The Election Rules and regulations are already in force.

A control room has been set up in the Secretariat to monitor the activities of the flying squad through GPRS.

This monitoring system has been set up to check the movements/activities of the flying squad especially when action is being taken on the complaints received through C Vigil App and through the phone, The control room is set up at the Namakkal Kvignar Building located inside the Chief Secretariat complex.

Web cameras in polling booths

Another control room has been set up in the Chief Secretariat to monitor the polling booths especially the polling booths with high tension.

It has been announced that the Tamil Nadu Chief Electoral Officer, Satyaprada Sahu will monitor the activities on the Election day.
