Money for returning the Aavin milk sachets! Measure to prevent throwing them away

The leading government sector dairy corporation, Aavin has announced that it would offer money for returning the empty milk sachets. This is a tep taken in order for the customers not to throw them away to the garbage.

A notification released by Aavin in this regard mentioned:
‘The State Government of Tamil Nadu has banned the manufacture and usage of plastic items which cannot be recycled or used again, However, the State government had exempted the plastic use for certain essential items such as milk, oil, etc.

In this situation, with a view to protecting the environmental surroundings, the customers buying Aavin milk sachets can now return them to the retail traders, retail sales shops, agents, the modern milk booths, regional/local offices or the offices of the Milk Consumers’ Cooperatives and get 10 Paise per sachet.

Without any administrative measures as of now, the buying public do not know how to dispose of the used milk sachets and proceed to throw them in the garbage.

Now, with the imitative taken as above by Aavin, the other dairy product producers are also requested to make similar arrangements.
