Maximum annual family income raised to Rs. 72000 to jobless youth!

In order to facilitate the monthly payment given to the jobless youth by the state government of Tamil Nadu, the maximum annual family income has been increased to Rs. 7200.

The notification regarding this, issued by the Salem District Collector Raman, mentions:

‘The state government of Tamil Nadu has been offering monthly payments to the jobless youth in the state. For the jobless candidates who have not passed SSLC are entitled to a monthly payment of Rs. 200. For those who have passed SSLC, the monthly payment is Rs. 300. The candidates who have passed +2 get Rs. 400 per month. Graduates get a monthly payment of Rs. 600.

For the candidates belonging to the differently-abled category, a monthly payment of Rs. 600 is made to the candidates who have passed SSLC or less than that.  For the differently-abled candidates who have passed +2, the monthly payment is Rs. 750. Graduates in the differently-abled category get a monthly payment of Rs. 1000.

In order to avail this monthly payment, the differently-abled candidates must have registered and completed a minimum of 1 year. The age limit for availing this monthly payment assistance is 45 years maximum for the candidates in the SC/ST category and for the others, they must be under the age of 40 years.

Keeping aside the candidates who had completed professional courses such as engineering, medical, veterinary science, agriculture, or law, it is important to note that the candidates who have completed up to SSLC (pass or fail) must have completed their study properly in some school. Otherwise. The candidates with higher qualifications must have registered in the Employment Exchange for 5 years with periodical renewal of the same.

Presently, a Government Order has been released that in order to avail this monthly assistance facility for the jobless candidates, the upper limit of the annual income has been increased from Rs. 50000 to Rs. 72000.

So, the jobless candidates who have the qualifications and meet the conditions explained as above can apply for the payment due for the quarter year (July-September) ending September!
