Information collected is these popular companies have entered into an agreement with the TN for investing huge amounts of money. The sensational piece of news that has emerged out is soon in the state of Tamil Nadu more than 20,000 jobs would be available for the youngsters.
It is important to note that on Tuesday, 3rd September 2019 as many as 16 US based companies signed a memorandum of understanding or MoU with the TN government to invest Rs 2780 crores in TN. At an investors meeting held at New York in USA, the 16 companies signed the MoUs in the presence of chief minister of TN, Mr. E. Palaniswami and others.
It must be taken into account that in the meeting more than 200 entrepreneurs and professionals took part. The meeting also saw the presence of industries minister Mr. Sampath and other senior officials. To set up a petrochemical complex in TN, Haldia Petrochemicals have signed an in-principle agreement for investing Rs 50000 crores.
It was mentioned by a statement from the TN government that the chief minister of TN had held discussions with the representatives of various companies to invest in Tamil Nadu. Many youngsters would get jobs soon by this investment..
The chief minister of TN spoke about how the conductive business environment, various incentives like tax refunds, capital subsidies, presence of highly skilled manpower, power supply, state of art infrastructure facilities and reputation for efficiency have made TN an ideal choice for the investors.
It must not be forgotten that two global investors meeting took place in the years 2015 and 2019 and many MoUs were signed for getting large scale investments. The TN chief minister assured that TN would provide the best possible investment experience for the investors. As per Mr. Sandeep Chakravorty, India’s consul general in New York, the present geo-political scenario and developments in global trade open up opportunities in India and in TN.
