No quarterly vacation for schools due to celebration of 150th birth anniversary of Mahatma Gandhi

In order for the celebrations of Mahatma Gandhi’s 150th Birth Anniversary, the quarterly vacation for the schools stands cancelled. This is as per the order from the Tamil Nadu State Government.
A time-table has been given to organising programmes in the schools from 23rd September to 2nd October.
The officials of the Department of Education have been ordered to send the reports on the various programmes performed in the schools to the State Planning Commission.
