Chennai High Court - Government declaration of holidays will not apply to the private sector

The Chennai High Court has ordered that the government declared holidays will not apply to the private sector.
The High Court informed that the holidays declared under the Negotiable Instrument Act by the government will not be applicable to the private sector.
Further, the employees who did not attend duty on the compensatory working day do not have any rights to demand wages for the same.
