Kumbabhishekam at Pondy temple

A kumbabhishekam was held at the Appa Piathyasamy Temple at Puducherry on Monday morning. The newly constructed temple is Chief Minister N. Rangasamy’s homage to his spiritual guru Appa Piathyasamy. The temple is in Gorimedu.
Special poojas were started at the temple on April 12th and the Maalam Kaala Yaga pooja was completed on Monday morning, followed by the Kumbabhisekam. Thousands of devotees thronged the temple for the function. Annadaanam for more than ten thousand persons were given.
A special function to commemorate the event was held at the temple premises. The Chief Minister and his cabinet members participated in the function.
