Prospects of heavy rain in several parts of Tamil Nadu!

It has been raining in several parts of the state of Tamil Nadu including the Chennai Metro City from yesterday (Tuesday, 29th October) night and has continued today (Wednesday, 30th October) morning as well!
There has medium rain in the Chennai Metro City and its suburbs since yesterday night.
The Chennai Meteorological Centre has informed us that there are prospects of heavy rains in several parts of Tamil Nadu. It has warned the fishermen not to venture into the sea.
Further, the low-pressure zone which was prevailing over Sri Lanka has drifted and stabilized over the Kanyakumari Ocean as a strong depression zone. The meteorological center has confirmed this.
Due to this depression zone, it has been raining heavily in the southern districts and mild rains in the northern districts.
Due to yesterday’s rain, a holiday has been declared for the schools and colleges in the districts of Sivagangai, Tirunelveli, Vellore, and Thoothukudi and the Kodaikanal mountain range area.
In this situation, a holiday has been declared today (Wednesday, 30th October) for the schools in 9 districts and even colleges in some districts.
