Celebrity industrialist Ratan Tata joins Instagram: After a long absence from public life

The well-known and celebrated industrialist, Ratan Tata, chairman emeritus of Tata Sons, joined Instagram on Wednesday (30th October) "after a long absence from public life".
It may be noted that Tata, one of the world`s most influential business magnate is not an active social media user.
Tata, the veteran industrialist took to his Twitter handle to announce his debut on Instagram with a screenshot of his search handle `RATAN TATA` and his bio which reads, "I made it to the `Gram!"
The 81-year-old industrialist, in his first post, wrote:
"I don’t know about breaking the internet, but I am so excited to join all of you on Instagram! After a long absence from public life, I look forward to exchanging stories and creating something special with such a diverse community!"
As well-known, Tata, who is one of the world`s most influential business magnate and a serial investor in startups is not an active social media user.
Indeed, Tata`s fans are ecstatic at his decision to join the social media platform as within just three hours of his first post, his Instagram handle has more than 10,000 followers!
