Incessant rain helps water-level rise in Chennai Metro City water reservoirs

Due to the copious and incessant recent rains, the water levels of the main water supply reservoirs for the Chennai Metro city have risen substantially.
The officials have informed that just over the last 10 days alone, the water level has risen by 1 TMC.
The water capacity of the 4 major water resources for Chennai Metro City Poondi, Puzhal, Sholavaram, and Chembarambakkam has increased to 1.760 million cft.
