Visitors could go for boating in horticulture farm in Madhavaram at just Rs 20

In Madhavaram in Chennai is present a government horticultural farm is well known. The sensational piece of news is beginning from the next week visitors could enjoy a boat ride here. This horticultural farm is a green oasis located in north Chennai.
It has been revealed by Mr. Subbaiyan, director of horticulture, that apart from boating on the lake on this farm, the visitors could enjoy other facilities also. It must be noted that Rs 20 would be the entry fee for the visitors. He then spoke about how play-area for the kids plus a palmyra park and 2 km walking track has been added.
People coming to this horticultural park would be surprised to see a rose garden with different varieties of roses. There are as many as 6 types of hibiscus flowers and the farm also has a cactus garden.
Nowhere in the Chennai city is present bog garden (a garden that employs permanent moist soil) but in this Madhavaram horticulture farm, this bog garden is present. It is amazing to note that the palmyra-park present on this farm has got about 500 trees and it would be an added attraction for the visitors. Point to be taken into account is work on the lake has been completed and a pair of pedal boats and some coracles had been brought.
It is not often people get to see a variety of gardens at one particular place and at this horticulture farm, this would be possible. This was confirmed by Mr. Subbaiyan. There is a meditation hall here that has been newly created and illuminated with green energy and people could spend their time peacefully. The solar panels present on the roof gives power to the meditation hall.
It was later mentioned by Mr. Subbaiyan that for an entry-amount of Rs 20 the visitor could be at this place for the whole day. Fabulous!!
