A 1-day free training programme is scheduled to be conducted on 22nd November at Chennai Guindy on Organic agriculture and the associated items on behalf of the Tamil Nadu Agricultural University Information and Training Centre.

The above training programme is funded by the Agricultural University expanded Education movement.
This special free training programme is conducted mainly in order to create awareness among the farmers and the urban youth and entrepreneurs on the topics of urban agriculture and gardening and allied procedures and to popularise the organic agricultural methods
The details regarding organic agriculture, soil fertility management, organic nutrition, insecticides, and plant disease management, preparation of the required ingredients, and setting up a terrace garden will be explained.
Preparation of the special ingredients required in agriculture, earthworm fertilizer, preparation of panchakavya and insect repellers and special seed making with organic inputs will all be explained.
As this is a special training programme, the number of participants is restricted to 50. So, interested participants should register at the following address:
