Indian Space Research Organisation (ISRO) has planned to execute ‘Chandrayan-3’ project in November 2020.

ISRO sent Chandrayan-2 to explore the south pole of the moon. However, the communication link with the Vikram Lander Control room got cut off.  The orbiter continues to function.

Given this situation, ISRO has now decided to go ahead with Chandrayan-3 project to send Lander and Rover.

ISRO scientists shared that this project will be executed in November 2020. They further confirmed that the lander sent through Chandrayan-3 will be much stronger and designed to land in any difficult environment.

Meanwhile, Chandrayan-2, which is providing research inputs on the moon has been sending the photographs of the moon now and then. Presently, ISRO has released the photo taken by Chandrayan-2 on the craters on the outer surface of the moon.
