The recent set-up exclusive park for the differently-abled children has become hugely popular among children
This special park for the differently-abled children was set up at a cost of Rs. 1.37 Crores at the Teynampet Zone, 4th Trust Link Road in Ward 126 on behalf of the Chennai Metro City Corporation and funds contributed by some private organisations.
This covers an area of 15000 sq ft and was designed especially for the differently-abled children and was inaugurated last December.
At the entrance of the park, a guide for the park especially has been set up for the visually-impaired children to feel and know.
Artwork (paintings) is displayed on the walls for the visually-impaired children to touch, feel and know and appreciate.
In order to help the visually-impaired children when they walk on the floor,touch-sensitive guides are set up for them to feel and know the locations of the bends in the park.
