Jio set to revise service charges up!

Following the other Telecomm Service providers Bharti Airtel and Vodafone Idea, Mukesh Ambani’s Reliance Jio has also announced that it is revising the service charges upwards!
It is well-known that Jio has been attracting and winning huge hordes of customers through its ultra-attractive discount offers over the last 3 years.
In this scenario, both Vodafone Idea and Bharati Airtel announced on Monday (18th November) that they are revising their service charges upwards with effect from 1st December mainly due to their very heavy debt burdens. Subsequently, Jio also has announced an upward revision in service charges citing the same reasons!
Jio has further explained that it has undertaken this initiative that they are also bound under the government Rules and Regulations like the other Telecomm Service Providers and it is a part of the duty to enhance the telecommunication trade.
However, it has somewhat softened this issue by stating that this upward revision in service charges would not unduly affect its customers.
However, one important noteworthy aspect is all the 3 telecom service providers have not given an idea about the extent of the upward revision!
