Keeping fit does not just mean exercising. It also includes what you eat while following your exercise regime. Here are a few things you must not eat post your daily workout.

Cheese:

Processed cheeses have a high amount of salt and saturated fat that defeats the purpose of your workout. If you really need to have a cheesy snack, try soya chips with cheese flavouring.

Raw Vegetables:

Eating only raw vegetables as a salad or otherwise is no doubt extremely healthy. But right after a workout what you need it something to keep you energized. Try the vegetables with a yogurt dip or hummus.

Bread and Cereals:

Both of these are high in sugar. If you need to eat your cereal, try a low fat granola or unsweetened muesli with skimmed milk. Do not eat white bread. Instead try whole grain or whole wheat.

Fruit Drinks and Milkshakes:

Again, both these are full of sugar. Replace them with a cup of herbal or green tea. Or if you want something cold try a smoothie with a low sugar fruit or tender coconut water.
