The weather experts have revealed now that for another 2 days moderate rains would continue in the city of Chennai. It is known that for the last few days Chennai has been receiving sharp spells of rains in the early morning.
Later next week, rains might intensify and this would increase the water levels in the aquifers and the water reservoirs. The condition of the sky is likely to be cloudy and light to moderate rains or thundershowers is likely to take place in some places. This was according to IMD forecast.
For the next 48 hours, the maximum temperature is likely to be around 31 degree Celsius and the minimum temperature is likely to be around 25 degrees Celsius. The rain would be due to trail of clouds travelling from east to west and this was as per Skymet weather.
By the end of this month of November, there would be more rains and the present 40% deficit situation in Chennai would also improve by that time. This was according to the weather experts. It must be noted that after more than a month into the NE monsoon there is 40 percent deficit now in Chennai.
As per the weather blogger Mr. Pradeep John, it is clear that by the end of November or in the first week of December, there would be copious rainfall in TN due to Madden -Julian Oscillation. It is worth mentioning that Madden-Julian Oscillation is a large scale coupling between atmospheric circulation and tropical deep atmospheric convention.
