Many dreams about getting admissions in the top business schools in India and prepare well for the Common Admission Test or CAT.
On Sunday, CAT 2019 was held in Chennai and many aspirants wrote the exams with great hope. It is now revealed by some aspirants that the comprehension questions on English were tough.
It was mentioned by an aspirant of Chennai that reading comprehension questions were bitten tougher whereas quantitative ability and data interpretation and logical reasoning were easier when compared to the previous year. Point to be noted is Aladdin and British folk music figured among the comprehension passages. Another aspirant explained how he has attempted 81 out of 100 questions and how the CAT exam was tougher this time. He then hinted that VARC or verbal ability and reading comprehension was a bit challenging.
It is important to note that CAT examination had a total of 100 questions out of which 34 questions were in VARC (English), 34 questions in quantitative ability (Mathematics) the and rest 32 questions in data interpretation and logical reasoning. It must be noted that a common admission test or CAT is a computer-based test for admission to graduate management programmes and it was started in the year 1998.
