Holiday declared for schools in Chennai ,Kancheepuram and Chengalpet

The Chennai Regional Meteorological Centre has informed that there are prospects for medium rain in most parts of Tamil Nadu tomorrow (Monday, 2nd December) due to the prevailing low-pressure zone and the cyclonic format in the upper layers of the atmosphere.
It has been raining since midnight yesterday in the Chennai Metro City and its suburbs. The Chennai district administration has announced tomorrow as holiday for schools only.
The schools in Kanchipuram, Chengalpet, Tiruvallur, Puthucherry, Cuddalore, Ramanathapuram and Thutukudi districts will also announced as holiday.
