New cell phone number to call regarding women/children safety!

A new cell number has been announced by the Chennai Police to make complaints/calls regarding the safety of women and children.
There is an exclusive Department in Chennai Police to deal with the prevention of crimes related to women and children.
A woman Assistant Commissioner, Jayalakshmi, works in this department. This office related to crime against women and children functions in Chennai Thousand Lights Greams Road.
In this situation, a new cell number has been announced by the Chennai Metro City Police to call regarding the safety of women and children.
Actually, the Police Department has announced in a special notification that it invites suggestions/recommendations from the public in its endeavour to enhance the safety level for the women and children extended by the Police Department.
The notification:
‘In case you observe anything unduly wrong concerning the safety of women or children wherever you are in the Chennai Metro City, please use the following facility described immediately to inform the Police. This would be extremely useful in enhancing the degree of safety accorded to women and children and maintain a higher standard/quality.’
