UGC: comments/suggestions invited for the revised syllabus for 6 subjects before 31st December!

In order to enhance the skill level of the students, the syllabus for 6 subjects has been revised by UGC (University Grants Commission) and the draft is available. Interested persons are invited to go through the same and offer their comments/suggestions before 31st December.

In a press notification on this issue, UGC has mentioned:

Nowadays, there is a pressing need to prepare present students with requisite skills as per the needs of the industries in various sectors. Accordingly, it was planned to prepare an enhanced syllabus for some subjects with the primary objective to improve the students’ skill level as demanded by the industrial sectors and an expert committee was formed.

A general announcement was made on 7th August 2018 regarding comments/suggestions invited from the public.

The new syllabus has been devised based on the general comments and suggestions from the experts’ committee.

Comments/suggestions are invited from the teachers, students, researchers and the people in the related field. Accordingly, the draft of the revised syllabus for the subjects of Chemistry, Zoology, Sanskrit, Law. Archaeology and Social Service have been uploaded on the official UGC website.

In order to contribute to the comments/observations/suggestions, an e-mail must be sent to the address: locfugc@gmail.com before 31st December.
