The condition of the sky is likely to be generally cloudy and maximum and minimum temperatures are likely to be around 30 degrees Celsius and 22 degrees Celsius. This was according to the forecast made by the meteorological department. It was later mentioned by an official belonging to the meteorological department that wind from the north is responsible for the chillness now in Chennai city.

It is important to note here that this chillness is usual in the winter season where the temperatures would be around 20 degrees Celsius to 22 degrees Celsius. The nights are cold now in Chennai. The southern parts of the state of TN might get rains. It is now brought out that the upper air circulation would be the reason for the rains in the southern parts of TN.
