Yes! Among the film celebrities who passed away in the year 2019, we have to include the veterans of the industry Director J. Mahendran, Actor/director Girish Karnad, and Crazy Mohan.

J. Mahendran (2nd April): Director - He made his debut as a director with the evergreen hit movie ‘Mummlum Malarum’. Later, in the recent period, he acted in character roles in some movies. He was admitted to the hospital due to ill-health and passed away.
J. K. Rithish (13th April): Actor - Celebrated movies: LKG, Penn Singam, Nayakan. He was a popular actor as well as a politician. On that day, he completed his election campaign talk, returned home and was sleeping when he had a heart attack and passed away.
Crazy Mohan (10th January): A very popular screenplay - dialogue writer and an actor as well. Hit films: Vasool Raja MBBS, Kadhala Kadhala, Arunachalam. He was admitted to the hospital due to ill-health and passed away.
Girish Karnad (10th July): Actor - A veteran actor who had acted mainly in Kannada movies and also in Hindi and Tamil, he had won several awards, He had a heart attack and passed away.
‘Nizhalgal’ Rajasekhar (8th September): Director-actor: He made his debut as a director in films and then later acted in character roles in several popular TV serials. He was admitted in hospital due to ill-health and passed away.
Krishnamurthy (7th October): Actor - Hit film: Kaidhi. He was a production manager and then started acting later. He passed away due to heart-attack during a shooting of a scene for the movie ‘Pei Mama’ in Kumuni.
Bala Singh (27th November): Actor - Hit movies: Neerthirai, Kudimagan, NGK. He was admitted in hospital due to breathing problems during midnight but passed away without responding to treatment.
