Tamil Nadu CM inaugurates new CEAT Tyre Factory!

The Chief Minister of Tamil Nadu, Edappadi K. Palanisamy inaugurated the new tyre factory of CEAT in Sriperumpudhur near Chennai on 12 the February (Wednesday, today).

Tamil Nadu State Government has announced that with this new factory, there would be job opportunities for more than 1000 employees to be appointed!

The various agreements/Memorandum of Understandings signed with different foreign companies during the International Investors’ Conference being implanted now into action.

Further, the memoranda of understanding signed with large industrial establishments are being realised now. On this basis, Tamil Nadu Chief Minister E. Palanisamy inaugurated the new tyre factory at a cost of Rs. 4000 Crores at Sriprumpudhur today (Wednesday, 12th February).

A memorandum of Understanding was signed by Tamil Nadu State Government and CEAT on 5th July 2018. Based on this, it was decided to set up a tyre factory at Madhuramangalam in Sriperumpudhur.

CEAT, one of the leading large-scale industries in India is set to start the manufacture of automobile tyres and tyre-related products. With this, job opportunities are open for 1000 direct job appointments and an additional 10000 personnel!
