Heat likely to continue in Chennai city

In Chennai, for the past two days, there has been increased in the temperature of more than 3 degrees Celsius above the normal.  This has been making the lives of the residents difficult.

On Sunday, Nungambakkam recorded a maximum temperature of 33 degrees Celsius and Meenambakkam recorded a maximum temperature of 34.4 degrees Celsius. In the same manner, the minimum temperature recorded in Nungambakkam was 20.3 degree Celsius and minimum temperature recorded in Meenambakkam was 19.6 degrees Celsius.

It was pointed out by some officials belonging to the regional Meteorological Centre or RMC that the maximum temperature has remained high for more than 2 weeks of time. This would continue as summer sets in. They have revealed that the minimum temperatures are likely to decrease due to southerly winds. It is important to mention that few places over north interior TN recorded temperatures above normal. There was an increase of 2 degrees Celsius to 4 degrees Celsius.

Beginning from Sunday for a period of 5 days, the state of TN would have dry weather and this was according to the weathermen. Information is in Chennai the sky is likely to remain clear and the maximum and minimum temperatures would be around 33 degrees Celsius and 21 degree Celsius respectively.
