A direct selection of agents for postal insurance is scheduled on 4th March in Chennai. In this regard, a notification released by the Chennai Metro City Senior Postal Superintendent Raman mentions:
Direct selections of agents for postal insurance is scheduled to be conducted at the Postal Department’s Chennai Metro City Central Division in Chennai on 4th March.
Time: 11.00 AM
Date: 4th March
The venue: The senior Postal Superintendent, Chennai Metro City Central Division, Sivagnanam Salai, (near Pondy Bazaar), T Nagar, Chennai 600017.
Academic Qualifications: Candidates who have completed 12th Standard, in the age group 18-60 can apply for selection as Postal Insurance Coverage Agents.
The jobless persons, Educated self-employed youth, former life-science consultants, former agents of any insurance company, ex-military personnel, Anganwadi staff, Mahila Mandala employees, retired teachers, self-help group administrators, and those who have experience in the insurance field, candidates with computer knowledge, and Chennai residents can participate in this direct selection.
Further, eligible candidates need to bring originals and copies of age-proof, proof/certificates of address, and academic qualifications and a passport size photograph.
Those who are already agents in other insurance companies are not eligible to participate in this selection!
