Budding Scientists Project extension of time for applying!

Time extension has been given for applying for the ‘Budding Scientists Project’ for school students organised by the Indian Space Research Organisation (ISRO).
Accordingly, interested candidates may apply until 5th March!
ISRO launched this ‘Budding Scientists’ project in the last year (2019) with the main objective of encouraging the school students to take an interest in space science and research!
Under this project, 3 students are selected from each state for a total of 108 candidates. This team will be trained for 2 weeks on theory and practicals on space research from 11th May to 22nd May!
Only students studying in the 9th Standard are eligible to apply for this!
Apart from the free 2-weeks training programme, arrangements will be organised for these ‘budding scientists’ to meet ISRO scientists!
They can get the experience of manufacturing a small satellite!
As per the earlier announcement, the last date for applying was over on Monday, 24th February. However, the deadline has now been extended! So, interested candidates can apply till 5th March.
