Additional Charges for IG Easwaramaurthy

The Additional Commissioner of the Chennai Metro City Police Department’s Crimes Branch, C. Easwaramaurthy, has been given additional responsibility. He will also be Inspector General of the Internal Security Branch.
In an order released by the Home Secretary S. K. Prabhakar regards this, C. Easwaramaurthy, presently the Additional Commissioner of the Chennai Metro City Police Department’s Crimes Branch, has been given an additional charge of the Internal Security Branch, Intelligence Wing.
It is notable that Easwaramaurthy has been given this additional charge with the protests against CAA (Citizenship Amendment Act) still continuing in the state of Tamil Nadu!
