Lectures of all the untaught subjects would be made available online!! Sounds, incredible right!!

The Coronavirus had made the arts as well as engineering colleges to be closed in TN. The latest news is colleges and universities have been given instructions regarding making available lectures of all subjects online especially those subjects that couldn’t be taught in the classrooms due to sudden closure of the colleges.

It must be taken into account that from April month the semester examinations would begin for those students belonging to state-run colleges and universities. Now, the government had given instructions to complete the untaught portions through electronic means.

The state government had not only announced the shutting down of all the colleges and universities in TN but they have also postponed the semester exams of engineering, polytechnic, arts and sciences students due to the Covid-19 issue.

It was pointed out by a senior official belonging to the higher education department that the authorities have received many requests from teachers and students to conduct classes by utilizing electronic means.

This has made the Directorate of Technical Education and Collegiate Education to instruct the concerned faculties to immediately conduct virtual teaching sessions.
