In March, TN students belonging to plus two wrote public examinations.
The latest news is the results of plus 2 would be delayed this time due to the threat of Corona virus. It must be noted that more than 8 lakhs students wrote their plus two examinations in TN.
Previously, the answer sheets correction was supposed to start from 7th April. On Thursday, TNDGE or Tamil Nadu Directorate of Government Examinations postponed the answer sheets evaluation date.
It is well known that the plus two students wrote their exams from 2nd March 2020 to 24th March 2020 and the results were scheduled to be released on 24th April 2020.
Presently, whole India is in the 21 day lock down. The director of government exams, C. Usharani mentioned in a circular that in the wake of Covid-19 lock down TNDGE has postponed the work.
The circular clearly pointed out that because of the prohibitory orders imposed by the state government under Section 144 of CrPC, the evaluation work scheduled t start on 7th April has been postponed and the revised schedule would be announced later. Only after normalcy returns back, the answer sheets evaluation would be carried out and the results of plus 2 would be released in May.
