Simple punishments would not work or yield proper results!!

At this time of 21 day lock down, people are advised to stay in their homes and not to come out unnecessarily. This has been done to prevent Covid-19 spreading. There are many who keep coming out every day and these persons have been punished by the policemen. Police personnel make the violators to do squats or hit them with sticks etc.

The news that has emerged now is the violators could be in for more trouble from this week because the police personnel had decided to take severe action. It is important to mention that on Monday police personnel seized the maximum number of vehicles from the violators. It is now believed that this seizure of vehicles would hinder the movement of the persons and this was as per a senior police official. Getting back their vehicles would be extremely tough for the vehicle owners in the coming days.

The vehicles seized from the violators would be booked under the violation of Section 144 and also under the violation of Motor Vehicles Act and FIR would be put taking into account these two. By this, it would be very tough for the vehicle owners to get back their vehicles after paying the fine amount.

It was later warned by a lawyer that the condition of the vehicle would be totally different when the owner receives the vehicle after the lock down gets over. He also mentioned about how for the vehicles to be safe it is important not to venture outside unnecessarily.
