One of the most popular Medical journals, ‘The Lancet’, has informed that the coronavirus lives on facial masks up to a period of 7 days and on currency notes, stainless items, and plastic material, coronavirus lives for a few days as per experiments conducted on this question.

The research report further clarified that the coronavirus germs are certainly killed while washing or using the domestic disinfectants, bleach, or soap.

The scientists, Leo Poon-Litman and Malik Peiris, who conducted the related experiments, further confirmed that the coronavirus lives on printed paper and tissue paper for (under) 3 hours and on wooden planks and clothes for 2 days.

So, they have warned that it is very important for the facial mask users not to touch its outer surface!
