The details of restrictions/concessions while under lockdown imposition!

The central ministry of Home has released the guidelines/rules and regulations to be followed under the lockdown imposition.

As a preventive measure against the spreading of the raging coronavirus pandemic, the prevailing lockdown imposition has been extended until 3rd May as the 2nd Phase.

The Central Home Ministry has released the rules and regulations to be followed under the lockdown conditions.

Accordingly,
  • Transports - buses, trains, flight services and all public transport services will not function.
  • The ban/closure of cinema theatres, commercial complexes, government events, religious worship places/events, and public meetings will continue.
  • All academic institutions will not function.
  • In the case of deaths, only 20 persons will be allowed to participate in the final rites.
  • All religious-related events are banned. Praying places will all be closed.
  • Only those who are moving out for a medical treatment or some essential needs will be permitted.
  • The areas where the infection is more intensive will be sealed as control areas.
  • Transport between states/districts banned - only medical-related transport will be allowed.
  • The hotels and mechanical shops on the National Highways will be allowed to function.
  • The present conditions will continue in isolation centers.
Conditions after 20th April
  • Construction works can continue.
  • Industries/companies/organizations in the Special Economic Zones will be allowed to function.
  • Mini/micro/small-scale industries can resume operation. Employees must wear face masks and keep social distancing.
  • The employees working under the rural job opportunity scheme can attend duty. But the face mask is a must.
  • Grocery shops, vegetable shops, fruit shops, milk booths, and meat shops will be allowed to be open.
  • Agriculture, horticulture, farming work, procurement of seeds will be allowed.
