Koyambedu Market Committee asks residents not to come to market for buying

Following social distancing to avoid spreading of Covid-19 is very important now. Many do not understand this and they just stand together to buy various products etc in shops in Chennai and in many places in TN.
For the purpose of delivering fruits and vegetables at the homes of the Chennai residents, arrangements have been made now.
On Wednesday, Koyambedu Market Committee had mentioned that the individuals need not visit the market to buy produce. The delivery services apps like Swiggy, Zomato and Dunzo could be used by the people to get the fruits and veggies from the Koyambedu market to their doorsteps.
It must be taken into account that fruits as well as veggies have been delivered after receiving orders for combo packs through CMDAs website www.cmdachennai.gov.in.
Important point to be noted here is despite the availability of online facility and mobile delivery services many people throng the market and do not follow social distancing.
