Jt.Sec Lav Agarwal: the number of coronaviruses has doubled in the last 6 days!

The central ministry of Health has informed that the number of persons affected with coronavirus has doubled in the last 6 days.
The raging coronavirus pandemic spread has been affecting most countries in the world including India.
With this, as a preventive measure against the spreading of coronavirus, the central government has extended the lockdown imposition until 3rd May. Despite this measure, the number of persons affected has been increasing considerably with each passing day!
In this situation, the officials from the central ministry of health had a session with the press. The Joint Secretary of Health Department, Lav Agarwal observed:
“In the last 6 days, the number of persons affected with coronavirus infection has doubled! However, the speed of affectation is lesser in 19 states as compared to the average in the country.
Over the last 24 hours, 797 persons have been confirmed with coronavirus infection. With this, the number of persons affected by coronavirus throughout the country has increased to 14,229.
So far, 1749 persons have recovered, discharged and returned home.
In India, the ratio of the recovered persons to dead persons remains at 80:20. Over 3 days prior to the imposition of lockdown, the number of persons affected doubled.
The ratio of doubling decreases in 19 states including Tamil Nadu, Andhra, Kerala, and Delhi,
As compared to other countries, India has managed to control and check the coronavirus spread rather better.
5 lakhs rapid Test Kits have been distributed to the states.
It has been planned to manufacture 10 Lakhs RTPCR devices in India itself. We have been earnestly pursuing the effort to find the virus preventive vaccine.
We are using BCG vaccine and Plasma cure, etc as corona preventive vaccine.”
