From Saturday, Tirupattur to be brought under control fully says collector

Beginning from Saturday, 18th of April 2020, Tirupattur would be 100 percent under the control. This was according to the collector of Tirupattur district Mr. Sivan Arul.
He spoke about how Tirupattur Nagar and the villages nearby would be sealed. People must not come outside and essential items etc would be supplied at their doorsteps itself.
From 7th March, as many as 17 Corona virus cases have been reported in Tirupattur is known. It must be noted that Tirupattur is headquarters of Tirupattur district (having population of around 64000) and is one of the oldest places in the state of TN.
