Coronavirus status: Chennai - 52 affected in a day! In Tamil Nadu total 1755!

With 72 more persons confirmed with coronavirus infection today (Friday, 24th April), the total number of affected persons in the state is now 1,755 as per the information given by the Department of the health of the state government of Tamil Nadu.
As a major preventive measure, lockdown conditions have been imposed throughout the country until 3rd May. Despite this, the number of infected persons has started increasing every passing day.
The Central Ministry of Health has informed that the number of people affected in India is 24,434. 5,457 patients have recovered completely and were discharged. The loss of lives has increased to 780!
Ministry of Health further informed that no new infections have been recorded in 80 districts over the last 14 days. Coronavirus pandemic has been raging in Tamil Nadu as well! It is reported that 72 more persons have been confirmed with coronavirus infection only for just 1 day today (24th April).
- In Tamil Nadu, 866 persons have recovered so far, discharged, and returned home! 114 persons have recovered today (24th April) and have been discharged.
- With 2 more deaths reported, the total loss of lives in the state has gone up to 22.
- As many as 52 persons have been confirmed with coronavirus infection in Chennai Metro City only on a single day (24th April). So far, 452 persons have been affected in Chennai.
- 25503 persons are under house-watch in Tamil Nadu. 10 persons are under direct government monitoring.
- So far, the corona test has been conducted for 72,403 persons. 6,246 persons have been tested only on one day today (24th April)!
- Infections have been confirmed in 10 districts today!
