13 fresh Covid-19 positive cases from Padi Kuppam in Chennai

Alarm bells for the virus management teams in Chennai have been raised now with TN recording as many as 52 Corona virus positive cases on Monday, 27th April 2020. In TN, the total number of Corona virus positive cases stands at 1937.
It is known that for the last few days, Chennai city has been recording highest number of Covid-19 positive cases. It must be taken into account that Chennai city has now got 570 cases with 28 new cases on Sunday and 47 new cases on Monday. It is surprising to note here that many health care professionals, media persons and police personnel were affected with Covid-19.
Information is among the new cases 6 are primary and others are contacts of existing positive cases of Corona virus patients.
According to Mr. N. Babu, a member of TN Expert Committee for Covid-19, it was clear that there were many reasons for the increase in the number of cases and he cited the lock down as one reason.
In Ambattur, 13 persons tested positive for Covid-19 and they belong to Padi Kuppam. It is brought out that these 13 persons got Covid-19 from a patient belonging to that area.
It must be noted that out of total number of Corona virus positive 1312 are males, rest 625 are females and about 1600 cases belongs to the age group 13-60. As many as 226 cases belongs to age group 60 plus and 111 cases to below 12.
