In the state of Tamil Nadu, a maximum temperature of 104 degrees was recorded at Karur.

Due to the phenomenon of thermal convection and the cyclonic format developed in the upper layers of the atmosphere, there are prospects for heavy rain in the 8 districts of Kanyakumari, Tirunelveli, Thoothukudi, Ramanathapuram, Virudhunagar, Theni, Madurai, and Sivagangai.
