Fear of staffs getting infected by Corona virus- private hospitals turn down patients in Chennai

In the last few days, the number of Corona virus positive cases in Chennai has been on the rise. It must be noted that many private hospitals in Chennai are denying treatment to the patients due to fear of infecting their medical staffs.
Important point is patients are scared to go to government hospitals due to large number of Covid-19 cases. Now, the private hospitals denying services to the patients have left them shocked.
A resident belonging to Chintadripet has been suffering from calcium deficiency and irregular blood sugar levels for 2 years and he needed continuous monitoring due to his UTI.
The regular check-up has become tough now as the number of Corona virus cases have been increasing in TN. Information collected is 3 hospitals in Chennai denied him treatment as he had developed complications in the last one month of time.
Another private hospital in Chennai denied emergency surgery to a 4 year old kid who had got an injury in the wrist. The hospital staff pointed out that now just 10 percent staff members are on duty and non-emergency cases are not being attended.
It is important to note that on a daily basis, the government hospitals in Chennai have been getting many Corona virus positive cases and the patients prefer to going to the private hospitals for their treatment. In Chennai, many eye and dental hospitals are attending emergency cases and many patients with un-diagnosed eye and dental issues are waiting for the lock down to be lifted.
