Decreased kidney functioning in us could be known by these signs, take care

For filtering the blood and in the elimination of waste from the body, kidneys play their roles efficiently. The kidneys are located on either side of the lower back is known.

One factor that is responsible for lowering the efficiency of kidney is age. It is common to see elder persons suffering from kidney based issues. It is believed that the efficiency of kidneys might also go down due to some underlying health condition in us.

These below mentioned signs indicate the presence of decreased kidney functioning in us. So be careful

High BP:
Many of us have high BP or blood pressures these days. Point is high BP could have negative impact on the kidneys. Blood vessels in the kidneys get damaged by high BP and this could result in the lesser efficiency of the kidneys. It is said that once the blood vessels in the kidneys are damaged then they might stop removing wastes etc.

Frequent or less urination:
Underlying kidney issue is indicated by the frequency of urination. Toxins and excess water from the body gets removed through the urinary tract and kidneys play an important role. The urge to urinate becomes more when kidney filters get damaged. Less urination might indicate the presence of stones or urinary tract obstruction.

Issues in concentrating, weakness etc:
Decreased kidney functioning is also indicated by the decrease in the global cognitive ability or having trouble in memorizing etc. Toxins and impurities in the blood gets built up by decreased kidney functioning. This leads to tiredness, weakness and lack of focus etc.

Lower back pain, muscle cramps:
Sometimes, we might feel the lower back pain hurting us badly. This might indicate the lesser efficiency of the kidneys. It must be taken into note that the presence of kidney stones, injuries and UTI could cause lower back pain in us. Muscle cramps could be due to low calcium levels etc. So, please take care.

Legs and hands swollen:
Disturbance in kidney function could result in retention of sodium and this could lead to swelling of hands and legs. Truth is sodium would be passed through the urinary tract in normal circumstances.

Blood in the urine:
It must be noted that when kidney gets damaged then the blood cells start leaking into the urine. The urine might appear reddish etc. It is revealed that blood in the urine could also be due to kidney stones, tumours etc.
