In the commercial places belonging to Coimbatore, the relaxation of rules has made the normalcy to return once again. The roads saw lots of traffic and the shops remained opened for the customers.

Till now, the commercial places like Town Hall, Gandhipuiram etc in Coimbatore wore a deserted look due to complete lock down. On Monday, these places were full of activities. Heavy traffic at the arterial roads made the cops to regulate the traffic at some major points.

The social distancing that is very essential to avoid Corona virus spread has been forgotten totally at the meat shops. It must be noted that the police personnel on patrol requested the non-essential shops to be closed and wait till detailed guidelines are issued by the TN state government.

On Monday morning, many textile and hardware shops that were closed in Erode were opened. Now, erode district is in orange zone and the Traders Association in Erode has asked the shops not to rush into business but to wait for few more days for the district to go to green zone.

Information collected is based on the advice from the state government, Mr. Sivarasu, Trichy district collector, relaxed the lock down. The social distancing wandered off the right path in Trichy district after lock down was relaxed. There were many vehicles on the roads in the morning and traffic congestion was present in many arterial roads in Palakkarai, Chanthiram bus stand, Central bus stand, Melaputhur etc in Trichy district. There was no social distancing from the vehicle owners.
