Arts and Science colleges receive more applications

Applications into arts and science colleges has increased this year. The trend till now has most applications into colleges that teach engineering, medicine and law. Applications into regular arts and science colleges has always been a back up.
Studies show that students wishing to join these colleges have increased across Tamil Nadu, including Chennai. Chennai’s Presidency, Queen Marys, Stella Maris Bharathi, Quaid e Millat, Ethiraj, Loyola, Vaishnav and Womens’ Christian College offer a variety of arts and science courses to students from all backgrounds.
Similar to last year, the most number of applications were for B. Com. B.Com and B.Com Honours requires the maximum cut off marks.
