Low chances of rain in Chennai

Chances of rain in Chennai may have decreased, said Director of the Chennai Meteorological Department Ramanan. The depression that was formed in the Bay of Bengal was expected to move in a north westerly direction towards Chennai, but seems to be moving in a north easterly direction now.
There are chances of rain in parts of Tamil Nadu in the next 24 hours, he said.
